Verdant Energy Aquires 37 MWp Solar Rooftop Portfolio in Thailand
We are thrilled to announce our official entry into the Thai renewable energy market through the acquisition of a significant 37 MWp rooftop solar portfolio from South Hodo Thailand. This is more than just a transaction; it’s a cornerstone of our regional expansion strategy.
By integrating these 10 industrial sites into the Verdant family, we are immediately establishing a robust operational footprint. This portfolio will generate ~50 GWh of clean energy annually, directly powering commercial and industrial (C&I) customers and abating 26,000 tonnes of CO₂ each year—the equivalent of planting over 400,000 trees.
With Thailand’s dynamic corporate demand for clean electricity and strong solar fundamentals, we now have a solid foundation to build a truly sizable and sustainable portfolio in the region.
